Help us improve the description
The introduction of Tinker I/O in Forge 1.10.2
(Tinker I/O version : release 2.4.1)
Tinker I/O is an addon for Tinkers’ Construct. The addon added some blocks and items to extend the function of TConstruct Smeltery.
New Blocks
1. Fuel Input Machine
Fuel Input Machine is a machine which is able to filliing any burnable items into the Smeltery. By filling fuel into the smeltery, the temperature and speed of the Smeltery will be increased. For some items which contain higher fuel value, the smeltery can operation even faster.
Fuel Input Machine can be located any where of the smeltery structure.
2. Smart Output
Smart Output is a machine designed to replace Casting Table and Basin.
3. Stirling Engine
Stirling Engine is a RF generator added byTinker I/O. The Engine must be placed above TConstruct's tank to work properly. The efficiency of Stirling Engine is determined by the temperature of the liquid.
4. Ore Crusher
Ore Crusher can curshed ores into Crushed Ore. Crushed Ore and Ore Dust is not the same. Thus, it can’t be burned in vanilla furnance. Instead, you have smelt Crushed Ore into Pure Metal by Smeltery. And you can only use Smart Output to cast Pure Metal into ingot.
5. What a beautiful block
Just a material for crafting. Isn’t it beautiful?
New Item
1. Solid Fuel
Solid Fuel is a item which is able to burning in vanilla furnance. Filling Solid Fuel into Fuel Input Machine can produce high temperatures and speed up the Smeltery.
2. Base Upgrade
Base Upgrade is the baisc item to make other upgrades of Tinker I/O.
3. Slot Upgrade I~IV
You can use Slot Upgrade to increase the output slot size of Smart Output.
In Smart Output
Each Slot Upgrade I can increase 1 output slot.
Each Slot Upgrade II can increase 2 output slot.
Each Slot Upgrade III can increase 3 output slot.
Each Slot Upgrade IV can increase 4 output slot.
4. Fortune Upgrade
Fortune Upgrade can increase 30% triplication rate of Ore Crusher.
5.Redstone Upgrade
Using Redstone Upgrade, Smart Output can be control by redstone signal.
6. Speed Upgrade
Speed upgrades can be placed in Ore Crusher and Fuel Input Machine.
7. Basin Upgrade
The upgrade can enable the Basin Casting mode of Smart Output.
8. Crushed Ore
Crushed Ore and Ore Dust is not the same. (Thus, it will NEVER added into Ore Dictionary). You have to smelt Crushed Ore into Pure Metal by the Smeltery. And you can only use Smart Output to cast Pure Metal into ingot.
The function of Tinker I/O in 1.7.10
Fuel Input Machine
Tinker I/O adds an item called “Solid Fuel”. Put the Fuel Input Machine next to close to the Smeltery Controller, and you can use this machine to put the Solid Fuel into the Smeltery Controller. As long as you collocate with “Speed Upgrade”, you can transform metals into the form of liquid immediately.
Smart Output
Smart Output can be used to replace Casting Table. Its output speed is faster than Casting Table. Collocating with the Fuel Input Machine, thus, it becomes a faster and cheaper mineral processing system.

1.16 plss
So tinker's construct just got a 1.16 version and I'm really hoping this mod will be updated to 1.16 also
In reply to BasiliskLuke:
GKB is really busy IRL so it may take some time to port TIO to 1.16
Does this mod have crafttweaker support? Im developing a modpack for a possible future project and need to change the output on the TinkerIO smart output. Cheers
OOH WHAT A LOT OF INFO
with my current english i took around 25 minutes to read and mentally traduce to Spanish
Hi yes hello,
Presumably you already know this, as you are the first person I have seen to have an accurate model of a stirling engine, but your model is of a *low temperature* stirling engine, designed to run off of below 100 degrees C, wheras it'd be more accurate to have a model of a *high temperature* stirling engine, which run off of temperatures a lot closer to molten metal. The model is awesome though, and if you do happen to change it, it'd be cool if you could use the model in a different way. (mayhap running off of something cooler? no ideas immediately spring to mind.)

In reply to qwerty9118:
Thanks for the suggestion. Actually, we didn't know that there is a high temperature stirling engine when we design the model. But it is interesting for me to learn about it. I think I will improve the model after the Minecraft 1.16.
Why does this page still say that the rewrite of Tinker I/O is “almost here” when it’s already out?
In reply to Dimentive:
Sorry... Because I am busy with my study in the university...
Great Addon, but in my opinion it is missing the most useful feature: a Item Input Block!
If you want to automate the smeltery you have to input the items into the front of the smeltery controller with pipes or conduits, and thus cover up the only way to access the controller.
Please add a Item Input Maschine. I have been wondering why there does not exist such a block for a long time and I do not know how difficult it is to code, but it would be great if there exists a mod that could add this feature.

In reply to Forge_User_18093554:
FYI, if I remember correctly dropping items into the smeltry will cause them to be added to its inventory, so if you hook up an autodropper system to the production line you'll get the automation you're looking for at the cost of a little lag caused by the items being dropped and picked up.
Also, you can pump in molten materials into the smeltry, so you can grab any of the other machines that turn solids into liquids and automatically pipe the fluids into the smeltry.
Hello guys, I have a question, i use smart output into a rftools liquid dimension, so i dont arrive to extract items from smart output.
In a topic i have seen that i can extract using hopper so ... For me not. same with itemduct + servo. Thank for help

版主台灣人?
可以用中文問你嗎?
Can you speak chinese?
Not sure if anyone has suggested it yet or not but, since you have an stirling generator, why not an Rfbank for the smeltary so it uses RF to smelt instead of lava?
In reply to Kudan7:
Hello,
I think your mod should be realy great for my new modpack I working on now,
But 2 things really make me hesitate:
- There is a Crafttweaker support, I have not seen anything in the crafttweaker wiki, nor in your wiki, nor in your website.
- There's a way to turn off somes features of your mod?
Minecraft 1.12.2
Using the current bata build of this mod. Seems to work on server side

Would it be possible to make it so that, provided you have the basin upgrade, a redstone signal will toggle between the casting table and casting basin functions in the Smart IO block. I am not sure if this would be something others would want but in my efforts to automate my smeltery, I find that this function could be helpful. Unless there is something I am missing the only way for this to work at the moment is to have 2 separate Smart IO blocks. I tried using a few different pipes to swap the basin upgrade in and out but I assume this is an inaccessible slot as I was unable to do so.
I am using v2.5.6e on Modern Skyblock 2.
