Description

Forge • NeoForge • Fabric • Quilt | 1.12.2 → 26.3
Cut one log and the whole tree comes down. Mine one ore and the whole vein follows. Timber OG takes the grind out of chopping and mining without breaking vanilla: every block still costs durability, enchantments still work, and everything drops in one tidy pile right where you cut. Your builds are safe, your tools never break, and sneaking always gives you a normal single block.

- 🪓 Tree felling: break a log with any axe and every log of that tree above your cut comes down, from the cut upwards, one layer at a time. Oaks, birches, giant 2x2 spruces and jungle trees, nether fungi and modded trees too. Cut higher up and the stump stays.
- ⛏️ Vein mining: mine an ore with a pickaxe that can harvest it and the whole vein goes with it, corners included. Deepslate and stone variants count as one vein, and neighbouring veins of a different ore are left alone. Works with every vanilla ore and with modded ores.
- 📦 One tidy pile: logs, ores and experience all land where you made the cut, instead of all over the canopy or deep inside the wall.
- 🏠 Builds are safe: only trees with natural leaves are felled, so log cabins, pillars and anything you built stay as they are.
- 🛡️ Tools never break: felling and vein mining stop while your tool still has one use left. Each block costs one use, like breaking it by hand, and Fortune, Silk Touch and Unbreaking work as usual.
- 🍃 Leaves fall fast: a felled tree drops its leaves within a few seconds, with their saplings, sticks and apples.
- 🧍 Sneak for one block: sneaking breaks a single block, as in vanilla (or switch it around in the config).
- 🖥️ Server side: install it on the server and every player gets it, without installing anything themselves. In single player just add it to your mods.

- Server side only: clients don't need it. It also works in single player.
- Plays fair with protection mods: every extra block is broken through the normal player break, so claims, protection and logging mods see (and can stop) each one, just like a block broken by hand.
- Works with modded axes, pickaxes, logs and ores, and with Sodium, Iris and shader packs (the screenshots below use Complementary Reimagined).
- No new items or blocks, so you can add it to or remove it from an existing world at any time.
- Every version is tested in-game before release (grown and hand-built trees, sneaking, cutting without an axe, a log pillar, ore veins with the right and the wrong pickaxe, a nearly broken pickaxe, the config switches), and boots on a dedicated server.
- MIT License: use it in any modpack.
