TickWeave 0.3.0-beta — Fabric 26.3
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
TickWeave 0.3.0-beta — Fabric
For Minecraft Java 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 and Java 25. Client and server; no additional required mods, including Fabric API. Install only the matching loader variant. TickWeave is not required on the remote peer.
- Extend bounded entity-section queries to Fabric clients, integrated servers and dedicated servers. Preserve ordering, visibility and early termination; unsuitable queries retain the original path.
- Reuse immutable vanilla block-hopper suction geometry when shape and position match. Entities, inventories and query results are never cached.
- Configure startup options in
config/tickweave.properties; restart after changes. Old section settings can be imported from the existing TOML configuration. - Skip optimization Mixins if Lithium, Canary or Radium is detected, or configuration is invalid. Real Lithium 0.26.2 coexistence was checked.
- Preserve tick frequency, hopper cooldowns, redstone, AI, world formats and network protocol. The empty multipart iterator optimization is Forge-only.
Validation
18 JUnit tests passed through a standalone launcher against the release artifact and verified Fabric runtime classpath; this is not represented as a successful full Gradle test run. Real integrated-client testing passed 38 initial functional assertions and 11 after saving and reopening in a new process. Dedicated testing passed 7 functional and 3 reload assertions. Actual Lithium coexistence and hopper transfer were checked.
Measurements and limitations
The separate Forge build completed 18 controlled server comparison runs against 0.2.0-beta. In the 4,096-hopper workload, median server-thread allocation fell 20.90%; with 256 inactive markers it fell 18.22%. Mean active tick time fell 0.16% and 5.37%, with both versions around 20 TPS. GC pause sums were higher, heap results mixed and idle allocation slightly higher. These are descriptive medians of three runs per variant/workload on one machine. Forge measurements are not performance evidence for Fabric.
Three client performance series were excluded after control-path or minimized-window/render-surface errors, including failures in the unchanged old baseline. No partial series is used as performance evidence. No general FPS, frame-time, physical input latency, chunk-rendering, TPS, memory, GC or network-ping improvement is claimed.
Fabric-specific vanilla-peer networking, authenticated Internet play, a second physical LAN machine, other operating systems, every launcher, other loader versions, prolonged farms and arbitrary modpacks remain untested. Source, German/English documentation, checksums and detailed test evidence are prepared in the local release package; this CurseForge file contains the installable mod only.
