TickWeave 0.2.0-beta — Forge 26.3
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
TickWeave 0.2.0-beta
For Minecraft Java 26.3, Forge 66.0.9 exactly, and Java 25.
- Add bounded direct lookup for small entity-section queries on dedicated servers.
- Preserve original query bounds, packed-key order, visibility filtering and early termination. Larger or unsuitable queries use the original implementation.
- Reuse the existing entity-query consumers without creating a cancellable Mixin callback object for each query.
- Keep the original virtual call for storage subclasses and when the optimization is disabled.
- Add
directSectionLookupandmaxDirectSectionsconfiguration options. No world/result caches, tick skipping or parallel world access. - No client mod is required. A real vanilla 26.3 client joined the isolated local test server.
- Validate 20,083 differential queries with 40,209 assertions and dedicated-server hopper, redstone, mob, dimension, exploration, save/reload and disabled-configuration checks.
This is a beta with a focused scope. Measured workloads and limitations are listed in the project description and benchmark report. The earlier internal 0.1.0 build regressed in its hopper benchmark and was revised; its results are retained as historical evidence, not presented as measurements of this JAR. No client FPS, universal speedup, authenticated Internet multiplayer or untested modpack compatibility is claimed.
