tickmender-1.5.5.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.5.5 - 2026-10-28
One new switch, on by default: emiEffectsAboveJournal. TickMender now has 53 switches. The 52 of
1.5.4 are unchanged, with their defaults.
EMI (emiEffectsAboveJournal): status effects no longer cover the journal tab
- What players saw: with an active status effect, the row of effects EMI draws above the inventory covered QuestBridge's journal tab ("Open the journal") at the top right of the inventory, so the tab could not be seen or clicked.
- Why: with
effect-location: top(inconfig/emi.css) EMI Remastered 2.1.0 draws the effects in one row of 32 pixels, its top 34 pixels above the inventory. QuestBridge puts its journal tab on the top edge of the inventory, inside that row. emiEffectsAboveJournal: in the method EMI merges into the inventory screen (emi$drawCenteredEffects), every read of the row's top is replaced: when a visible journal tab overlaps the row, the row's bottom moves to 2 pixels above the tab (EMI's own gap above the inventory). Drawing and the hover tooltips of the effects use the same top. Without a journal tab on the screen, or when there is no room above the top of the screen, the row stays where EMI puts it. Client only, applied to EMI Remastered 2.1.0 only and only while EMI is installed.- Checked with unit tests of the placement rule; the merged method, its local
y(slot 8) and the journal tab's class were read from the real EMI Remastered 2.1.0 and QuestBridge 2.0.2 jars. Checked in the Nytheria client before the release: with active effects the row sits above the journal tab. Build of 1.5.5: 757 tests (737 intest, 12 intestFixesOff, 8 intestFabricApi), all green.
Updating from 1.5.4
Replace the jar. The new switch is added to an existing config/tickmender.json with its default
(true); everything already in the file is kept. Whoever wants the old behaviour sets
"emiEffectsAboveJournal": false. Nothing else changes.
