What's new

1.4.0 - 2026-10-17

One new switch: immersiveArmorHudRow. TickMender now has 41 switches. The 40 of 1.3.0 are unchanged.

Immersive Armor HUD (client)

  • immersiveArmorHudRow: the armor-piece icons of Immersive Armor HUD 1.0.1 now sit one row above whatever is stacked on the left of the hotbar (hearts, an absorption row, the armor row) instead of at a fixed height. Until now they were drawn one row above the armor row of a single row of hearts, so when OverflowingBars gives absorption a row of its own (maximum health plus absorption is more than 20) and moves the armor bar up, the icons were painted on top of the first armor icons. With one row of hearts and armor nothing moves; with a second row the icons go up by one row, and without armor points they go down by one.
    • It needs the height of the left-hand bars that Puzzles Lib keeps for its HUD layers. Without Puzzles Lib, or with a value that is no height, Immersive Armor HUD draws where it always did.
    • On a dedicated server the switch is idle (client only).

Updating from 1.3.0

Replace the jar. The new switch is added to an existing config/tickmender.json with its default (true); everything already in the file is kept. Whoever wants the icons at the old height sets "immersiveArmorHudRow": false.
