Tianshu Libs 1.0.7 Update Log

This article documents the interface and implementation updates made for the startup mode of libs focusing on "loading only the embedding and not the chat model", as well as the resulting configuration verification, status query, and semantic adjustment for failures.

This log covers the startup constraints of the common module, additions to the public API, behavior contracts in the absence of a chat engine, and new tests; it does not involve adjustments to other modules beyond build configuration.

Version Information

• libs version: 1.0.7
• JJML version: 2.1.2.0025-02b5d02 (not upgraded this time)
• Main goal: To allow the service to be launched with only the embedding model configured, eliminating the need to deploy a chat GGUF for deployments where "chat is handled in the cloud / only RAG vectors are processed locally"; at the same time, to solidify the behavior in the absence of a chat engine into a predictable and detectable contract, rather than allowing it to become a Not Provided Exception (NPE).
