Changes
- Cherry picked a commit from the 1.8.8 branch - exceptions in the IRC thread are caught and Thump disconnects gracefully (note that in the case of a crash, it won't automatically reconnect - you'll need to poke it). Previously you had to forcefully disconnect it.
