This is a 1.19.2 and 1.20.1 Forge Mod that it improves horse breeding mechanics to allow for unlimited speed potential through selective breeding.

This mod improves horse breeding by making it fairer and more fun. Currently, in vanilla horse stats are decided like this: Parent 1 Stats + Parent 2 Stats + Third Random Horse / 3. This means that not only you have stat limits like 14,23 blocks per second, but you also get worse stats when breeding almost every time.

What this mod does is:

- Remove the "third" random horse.

- Remove the speed limit and increase the max jump height to ~10 blocks.

- Add a 60% weight on the faster parent and 40% weight on the slower parent.

- Include a -4% to +8% speed variation when breeding.

Now you can get insanely good horses by carefully breeding only the best ones.

Recommendation: Install Realistic Horse Genetics and Truly Custom Horse Tack along with this mod, they are great mods, and then on the Realistic Horse Genetics config file called "horse_colors-common" set the "useGeneticStats = true" to false so you can use this mods stats while keeping the great additions from Realistic Horse Genetics.
