This is Not a Horror

This is NOT a Horror is a psychological horror mod for Minecraft NeoForge 1.21.1.

It transforms familiar Minecraft exploration into an unsettling experience through mysterious entities, false events, custom sounds, visual glitches, and hidden encounters.

What the mod adds

• Original horror entities with unique reactions and encounters.
• Daytime and nighttime events that change how the world feels.
• Distorted player copies, unusual chat messages, and strange tab list activity.
• VHS-style visual effects, screen interference, custom sounds, and jumpscares.
• Unpredictable environmental events involving doors, beds, signs, items, and the sky.
• Two mysterious dimensions: Ash World and Door World.
• Personal horror encounters designed for both singleplayer and multiplayer.

Some events are rare. Some are personal. Some should not be explained.
