Thirstbar
You can drink from a water source, cauldron or with vanilla items. Items have food/drink info on tooltip. You can see your food/thirst saturation on ur HUD with an Appleskin-like hud. Solo and multiplayer.
Less than 3 thirst brings mining fatigue, if you have no thirst you will take damage (2* more than with food) and you will have dizziness, with nausea and obscurity.

with some items you can lose thirst
gives you by default the same amount as a bottle of water (water and saturation), and consume one step of the cauldron. Sneak right click with empty hands.
gives you a little amout of water (1 drop water, half a drop saturation) Sneak right click with empty hands.
In the Config directory you will find a file where u can change values you dont like.
