Description
The Hunter adds a single creature to your world. You won't always see it. But when you do, you'll know.
It watches. It follows. It waits.
The Hunter introduces an advanced AI entity that stalks the player throughout their journey. It doesn't always appear, and that's exactly what makes it terrifying. You might go hours without a sign of it, and then, out of nowhere, you'll catch a glimpse in the distance. Or hear something you can't quite place.
The creature is designed around unpredictability and tension. No two encounters feel the same. Sometimes it lingers. Sometimes it disappears before you can process what you saw. The anxiety of not knowing if it's there is half the experience.
This is not a jumpscare mod. This is a slow, creeping unease that changes how you play the game.

CHANGELOG
THE HUNTER UPDATE (1.0.1)
TheHunter: Evolution Update
The surface of your world is no longer a haven. Something has changed.
This update introduces a complete evolution to TheHunter. The creature has shifted from a mere threat into a calculated predator. Its movements have been entirely overhauled; the new, fluid, yet twitchy animations make it feel unnervingly real, stripping away the sense that you are dealing with just another block-based entity. Its revised model and realistic textures are specifically designed to blend with the natural world, demanding constant vigilance.
The entire AI has been rebuilt around a terrifying new dynamic: observation versus aggression. Every night, and even in the shaded corners of the day, you are being assessed.
There is a significant percentage that TheHunter is already watching you. It may follow you from a distance, just on the edge of your rendered chunk, or it may observe silently from the tree line. You will learn to dread that feeling of being stalked. The threat has a persistence that does not just disappear with the sunrise.
And occasionally, a lower percentage ensures that it will not just watch. In these rare, violent encounters, it will strike directly, bypassing the observation. When that happens, your first warning will be its form rushing at you, and death is almost instantaneous.
The balance of survival has changed. Do not assume you are alone
