Curse Maven Snippet
FIXES:
Fixed the Rod of Flying disabling creative flight methods added by other mods.
[Hopefully] Fixed a sound-related bug that caused dedicated servers to crash instantly.
Fixed a bug that prevented Dulling Chunks from being notified of dulling block removals when said blocks were removed by methods not accounted for by the chunk claiming system.
Fixed the Inferno Effect being unreliable in various situations by changing it to be its own independent ticking system rather than counting as a potion effect.
Fixed the Gorelicks being excessively loud, replacing their idle sound effects and adding their own hurt and death sounds.
Fixed certain Dulling units being incorrectly converted into aquatic variants when submerged in water.

Improved the Vfx and Sfx of the Dulling unit merging mechanic.
NEW CONTENT:
Added a new functional block, the Capstone.
Added a new form of base defense, the Llwyd Core & Llwyd Root blocks.
Added new Rituals: Harvesting Ritual & Vengeance Ritual.
Added new mobs: Burgeoning, Shattered Construct, Security Block, & Ancient Squid.
Added a new late game boss, The Adapticon.
Added new trophy hunting system, divided into three additions:
The Display Cage, a block crafted with iron and verglasteel, can be used to display a miniature version of a given entity.
Taxidermy, a sword enchantment that causes slain entities to have a 50% chance to drop their corresponding “Ilk”.
Ilk, a new item that stores a given entity depending on what was killed with Taxidermy. A Display Cage can be right-clicked with Ilk to set it to display the corresponding entity.
Reaching 200 dulling chunks will now cause the Adapticon boss to begin hunting overworld players with a timer at the top of the screen. When the Adapticon is finally killed, its death will trigger eclipse mode.
Biggest addition: Added the Magic system. There is now a Mana stat represented by a blue bar above the hunger bar. The player’s Max Mana is 0 by default and can be increased by certain consumables or unique magic armors.
A total of 8 different magic armor sets have been added.
A total of 19 unique magic weapons have been added, along with numerous existing weapons and items being reworked to use the new magic system.
Added a new biome to the Nether, the Mana Springs. This Eldritch dreamscape is inhabited by passive Ancient Squids, which “swim” through the air. Another curiosity about this backwards biome is the presence of water. That’s right, the Mana Springs prevent any water from instantly evaporating when placed within the biome, making the Nether almost as habitable as the Overworld.
Within this biome is a unique structure, the Sanctum. These large, geometric ruins are guarded by living “Security Blocks” which awaken in response to intruders and attack by firing blue energy projectiles. Each Sanctum is procedurally generated, making them unpredictably dangerous.
The player can craft their own Security Block and place it down to create a friendly version that defends the player from any hostile mobs.
Added the Burgeoning faction, featuring a quest system that acts as a natural, in-game tutorial for some of the mod’s early game content, along with providing some pre-Sacreligious Core content. The Burgeoning Quest system also acts as a way to introduce the player to the Magic System for the first time.
The Burgeoning acts as an organized “counter-infection” to the Dulling. They spread by growing special Birch Trees which feature a Burgeoning Heart in the trunk that produces soldiers for the Burgeoning. They are neutral towards the player, and inherently hostile to the Dulling, getting stronger with each kill. The player is given a seed to start the Burgeoning’s growth via completing Burgeoning quests.
The Main Menu now has a unique Darkness effect with the cursor acting as a flashlight, and its music has been replaced with a dark, weeping ambience, giving you an immediate idea of what you signed up for.
Added new biome to the Lost Interfold, the Shattered Crags.
Added new building block sets: Travertine, Eldritch Wood, and Elderwood.
