The Village Fights Back 1.3.2
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Changes since 1.3.1.
The Limbo Scythe
- Redrawn. It used to look like a cane. It is now a proper reaper's blade, traced from reference art, with the amethyst shimmer on the new shape.
- It saves you from death. A charged scythe anywhere in your inventory cancels the killing blow and spends a soul, leaving you on half health. Every scythe you carry pays a soul, so a second one buys no extra lives.
- Capacity is now 8 souls, down from 16.
- Its recipe costs a Limbo Smithing Template in place of the bottom soul sand.
New
- Four advancements: Not As Useless As It Sounds (forge the Limbo Hoe), Raise The Dead (craft the Scythe), An Invincible Army (raise a fallen defender), and Not Even Close! (survive a death on a soul).
- Fertile and rich sandstone. Sandstone used to convert into fertile sand.
- X-ray obsidian lights Limbo portals, the same as fake obsidian.
General Darius
- He keeps leaping once he closes on you, instead of standing and swinging.
- He forgives you when you die. The village forgets your kills on respawn, so he stops hunting you until you hurt someone again.
Fixes
- Houses no longer bunch together in snowy biomes. Settlers could not be placed on snow-covered ground, so they all spawned in the same few clear patches.
- The village bell now disappears with MCA installed too. The brain node takes over as MCA's town centre, so nothing is lost by it going.
