Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.12.0
Sky islands
- The Void is now islands floating in the sky, with nothing underneath: fall off and the void kills you. Three layers, from little islets to islands the size of a village; the biggest hang deep enough to hold deepslate, diamonds, geodes, caves and Deepslate Abyssite Ore.
- Glitch Fluid lakes and waterfalls pouring off the islands' edges, no seas.
- The sky is black now, horizon and all (the glitch streaks and the black hole's planets are still there).
- Portals and the fall from the End land you on the nearest island. Glitch Vaults are built inside the biggest islands.
- Existing worlds: the land you've explored stays as it was; new places become islands.
Resverd Forest
- A new floating forest biome: a cluster of little islands at different heights, tall Resverd trees with dark blue trunks and baby blue leaves, a light blue sky, and no monsters at all.
- Resverd wood: a full wood set (light blue planks, dark blue bark), and Resverd Berries.
- The Resverd Spirit: a little glowing forest spirit. Tame it with berries and it follows you like a pet, and catches you with Slow Falling if you fall off an island. Drops Glowing Spirit Fruit.
Dimension Traveler
- Right-click to open a tear to a brand-new random world (plains, mountains, oceans, floating islands, caverns, spikes or mesas, with random biomes, sky, light, gravity and mobs, and a made-up name). A return rift waits where you land. 20 uses, then it breaks for good.
- Found only in rare rift-lab bunkers in the Overworld: random traps, spawner rooms, and a vault behind a keypad whose 4-digit code is split across four scientists' notes.
The dimension with no name
- When a Dimension Traveler breaks, 1 time in 80 you're glitched into a world with no name that looks like old Minecraft alpha: old textures, old-style land, flat clouds, dark and foggy, and you can only see 2 chunks.
- Herobrine watches you from the corner of your screen. Look at him and he's gone. The longer you stay, the more he does: footsteps, whispers, signs, missing torches, strange tunnels and sand pyramids...
- The way out is his shrine, somewhere 300-600 blocks away.
Herobrine's house
- If he asks you a question, don't answer. If you do, he takes half your things and locks you in his house until you answer 50 of his questions correctly.
- A wrong answer, or trying to leave, and he comes for you with a diamond sword.
- Build and light his shrine anywhere to call him yourself.
