Before describing what this strange yet wonderful mod does, I have to mention that the gnome model isn't mine—I took it from the "Gnomes!" mod, since I'm terrible at modeling. The gnome animations also come from the "Gnomes!" mod, so you really should go download and try itout.

And the lute model is a modification of the model and textures from the wonderful "Immersive Melodies" mod—which you should also download.

You don't need to download these two mods for "The Scary Gnome" mod to work—in fact, they might even be incompatible, who knows—but it is worth downloading them to support the creators of the models used in this mod; I'm sure they'd appreciate it! ^^

The Scary Gnome

Now then, let's get to what the mod does 

This mod adds a gnome whose mission is to laugh at you while pestering and scaring you—a truly mischievous entity. There are four events this gnome can trigger—at least for now—as I will decide whether or not to update it in the near future based on the level of support the mod receives.

Gnome Jumpscare

When breaking tree trunks in the Overworld, you might encounter the gnome; he will try to scare you and then disappear. 

Banjo-Playing Gnome

This gnome's favorite instrument is his banjo; he will chase and pester you while playing it—partly so you can enjoy his music, and partly to drive you absolutely crazy.

Thieving Gnome

The gnome also likes to steal random objects—he doesn't really need them, but he is a kleptomaniac. However, he is particularly fond of the mystic amulet, so if you have one in your inventory, that is the item he will always take. If you manage to hit him, he will drop whatever he has stolen—whether it is the mystic amulet or something else—but you have to be faster than the gnome; he will realize you have taken back what he stole and will return to try and get it back.

Stalker Gnome

It will simply watch what you do, and if you get close, it will run away. It gets very bored—there is no one else to play with in the forests or caves—and it is somewhat adventurous, so it will follow you wherever you go, even to the Nether.

Mystical Amulet Craft

Commands

/thescarygnome_appearances_low --> Reduces the spawn probability of the mod's entities by half

/thescarygnome_appearances_default --> Resets the default spawn probabilities.

/thescarygnome_appearances_high --> Doubles the spawn probability of the mod's entities
