OLD VERSION MADE BY ME: The Reborne - Minecraft Mods - CurseForge
The Reborne's Revenge is a horror mod for Forge 1.19.2, and the remaster of The Reborne. Everything people said about the first one was taken apart and rebuilt.
Nothing happens on your first day. That's on purpose.
It watches
At the edge of your view, half hidden behind a tree, its head on its side. It only moves while you aren't looking. Look at it too long and it slips back behind the trunk. Look away and it's closer. You will never walk up to it.
It follows
When you turn around, it freezes mid-step. Then it runs.
It pretends
One of the cows in that herd never grazes. It's always facing you. It doesn't cast a shadow. Get close enough and it comes apart.
It leaves things
Dead animals on the path ahead of you. Trails of them leading into the trees. A ring of them near your home. Something hanging upside down under a branch. You, lying in your own bed.
It talks
It talks to you in chat. It answers what you type, comments on what you just did, knows what you're holding and how many times you've died, posts messages under your name, and has opinions about the other horror mods in your pack.
It hunts
On all fours, faster than you'd like, through doors and up walls. Break its line of sight and you might lose it. If it catches you, it wants to see your face.
And the game stops being safe
The title screen rots. The window title lies. The crash screen isn't a crash. The death screen says *You came back.*

Every world is different
Each world has its own personality (Patient, Cruel, Playful, Territorial or Hungry), which changes what it does and how it talks. Events come from a shuffled deck, so nothing repeats too soon, and some are set pieces that build on each other. It learns how you play: stay home and it comes to your home; live underground and it follows you down.
Configurable
Everything is configurable from Mods → The Reborne's Revenge → Config, with Subtle, Default and Nightmare presets:
- How often it appears and how often events happen.
- Which ways it appears (watching, following, hunting, disguised, on the ceiling, as your double).
- How fast it hunts, whether it can kill you, and every single event.
- Griefing: holes, stolen items, moved and snuffed torches, real animals taken for corpses.
- Chat: how often it talks, speaking as you, answering you, mentioning other mods.
- Screens: title screen, window title, fake crash, death screen.
- Static and flashing, including a reduced flashing mode for photosensitive players.
Stays inside the game
It never touches anything outside your `.minecraft` folder, never deletes saves, and never fakes system dialogs.
Commands (op)
