v3.0.0 — The Redesign Update

The One True Stick has been completely reimagined. This update replaces the original single-purpose damage weapon with a full endgame artifact: new texture, new abilities, new passives, and a full rebalance around a proper cooldown system.

 New Look

Brand new 16x16 pixel-art texture: a battle-worn wooden stick with a glowing red gem at the tip and dark crack marks along the shaft Matching updated mod logo and CurseForge branding

Reworked Combat

Melee is now an instant kill on any target — mobs, bosses, and players in PvP Killed targets turn to dust with a particle effect and drop no items or XP Melee attacks are now on a 1-second cooldown

 New: Charged Fireball

Hold right-click for 3 seconds to charge a holy fireball above your head Charging displays a growing particle effect and slightly slows the player Release early to fizzle the charge; release at full charge to launch On impact with a player, mob, or block, the fireball creates a massive nuke-style crater: 20 blocks wide, 12 blocks deep Destroys every block in range except bedrock (including water) Blocks vanish with no drops Instantly kills anything caught in the blast (except the caster) 10-second cooldown between shots

 New: Passive Holder Effects

While the stick is held in your main hand:

+20 extra hearts of maximum health Constant Regeneration Slightly increased movement speed Fire resistance — immune to fire and lava damage Reduced explosion damage — takes half damage from all other explosions

 New: Totem of Undying Effect

If you would die while holding the stick, you're instead fully healed on the spot with a burst of Regeneration, Absorption, and Fire Resistance

60-second cooldown — if lethal damage hits you again within that window, the totem save will not trigger and you die normally

 Other Changes

Infinite durability — the stick will never break, ever Cleaned up displayed attack damage (no longer shows an absurd 1,000,000 in the tooltip — the actual kill logic doesn't use that number anymore) Under-the-hood: all instant-kill and passive logic rewritten to use Forge event handlers instead of raw damage

 Coming Soon

Stage 2: A generated lore structure with a chest and a lore book explaining the stick's backstory

Stage 3: The Wood Forge crafting station

Stages 4 & 5: Seven temples, seven giant tree bosses, seven crafting parts required to actually make the One True Stick
