Note:
Vanilla removed material types for blocks, so funky stuff may happen
-  I know that certain combinations of blocks are not selected in the AOE, eg: planks next to diamond ore - blame Vanilla - I will work on a fix

Vanilla tools are capable of breaking unrelated blocks - eg: a Shovel can break Planks but would be less efficient than an Axe
- Hammer Mod tools inherit this ability too - since forever
