A terrifying Minecraft Fabric mod that adds the Shadow Walker - a nightmarish entity inspired by SCP-173 and the Weeping Angels.
Features
The Shadow Walker Entity
- Freeze Mechanic: The Shadow Walker freezes completely when you look at it - but the moment you look away, it moves towards you
- Eerie Green Lantern: Carries a glowing green lantern that illuminates its surroundings with an otherworldly light
- Creepy Ambient Sounds: Whispers disturbing phrases when near you ("Look away...", "I can smell your fear...")
- Chase Mode: When triggered, it relentlessly pursues you while taunting
Gameplay Mechanics
- Spawns at Night: Only appears in jungle biomes after dark
- Glass Bottle Weakness: The only way to damage it is with a glass bottle - hitting it with anything else hurts YOU instead
- Risk/Reward Interaction: Right-click to steal loot (diamonds, gold, emeralds), but beware:
- You'll be teleported away
- Darkness and nausea effects for 3.5 seconds
- The Shadow Walker ignores the "look to freeze" rule and chases you
- A terrifying screech plays throughout
- Devastating Attack: If it catches you, it deals 50% of your max health and throws you into the air
- Speed Scaling: Each hit with glass bottle makes it 10% faster (resets when you die)
Loot Drops
- On Hit (Glass Bottle): Bones, rotten flesh, spider eyes, ender pearls
- On Interaction: Diamonds, gold, emeralds, golden apples, experience bottles
Installation
- Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.21.1
- Install Fabric API
- Download the mod JAR and place it in your
mods folder
- Launch Minecraft and prepare to be scared!
