The Empty Server
You're alone in your world. Aren't you?
The Empty Server doesn't add monsters, bosses, or new weapons. It barely adds anything you can see. What it does is slowly convince you that someone else is playing with you.
It starts small. A message in the chat: "Jumin joined the game." You didn't invite anyone. You hit Tab and there's their name, sitting in the list like they've been online for hours. You keep playing. After a while, it talks to you. It knows where you are. It comments on what you just built.
And the longer you survive, the bolder it gets.
This isn't a cheap jumpscare mod. It's slow, it's patient, and it plays with the worst feeling Minecraft can give you: not being alone when you should be.
— What to expect —
- A "player" that joins and leaves your game on its own.
- Whispers that react to what you do and where you are.
- Traces left behind when you're not looking: lights put out, things moved, structures you never built, with coordinates whispered straight to you.
- And if you last enough nights... it will come to your door. And it will knock.
Everything scales with how long you stay alive. The first day you'll barely notice it. By the first week, you'll wish you never installed it.
— To play —
- Minecraft 1.20.1 + Forge
- No other mods required
- Works in singleplayer and on servers
- Fully configurable: if something is too much (or not enough), tweak it in the config file. You can even turn individual events off.
- Available in English and Spanish (follows your game's language)
— Heads up —
This mod is built to scare you. It messes with your chat, your player list, and a few blocks in your world to do it. None of it breaks your save or deletes anything, but if you wanted a relaxing mod... this isn't it
I recommend playing this mod with other horror mods
The mod is still under development. Please report any bugs you find
