The Cursed Mod [TCM]

This mod is intended to be a silly and stupid mod that I work on for fun. The most important thing about this project is that it get its humor from being random and stupid (like asdf). Please don't take anything in this mod seriously at all. Thanks.

This mod seeks to add weird and unholy things that should not be in Minecraft and then string them together with Terraria-like progression. Currently, there is one game stage with linear progression, although much more is planned.

PROGRESSION GUIDE

Notes:

Essences are obtained by killing bosses (and escaping the backrooms). They can be crafted into Essence Blocks.

Blast-Proof Glass can be crafted and is basically immune to explosions (useful for building arenas).

Anomalies can spawn underground. They take you to The Backrooms when walked into.

To escape The Backrooms, you must find the Microwave and kill it (don't ask).

Uranium Ore can be found underground. It drops several uranium related items.

Pre-boss:

Slime Caves can be found underground. You know you've found one when you see patches of slime blocks on the ground and an all-stone floor.

Cave Slimes of all sizes can spawn here. They drop Souls of Slime, a crafting ingredient.

Slime Cave Shrines can be found here. They will always contain a Royal Slime Medallion.

Slimy Sword Shrines can also be found here. They contain a sword in the stone that can be mined to obtain the Slimexcalibur

The Royal Slime Medallion is needed to summon the first boss. It can be found in Slime Cave Shrines or crafted with a Soul of Slime and various other items.

The Slime King is the first boss of the mod. It can be summoned by using the Royal Slime Medallion.

On death, it drops Souls of Slime, Royal Slimeballs, and the Liquifier.

Royal Slimeballs are a crafting ingredient.

Royal Slime Blocks can be crafted with Royal Slimeballs.

The Slime Hat can be crafted with a Royal Slime Block, Souls of Slime and Blocks of Overworld Essence.

The Slimexcalibur can also be crafted with Royal Slime Blocks, Souls of Slime, and a Block of Overworld Essence if you couldn't find it earlier.

The Slimaxe can be crafted with a Royal Slime Block, Souls of Slime, and Blocks of Overworld essence.

The Liquifier is a new crafting station. It must be powered with a water bucket, and primarily serves as a source of new liquids and bottled liquids.

I'll add a full list of Liquifier recipes later.

Post-Slime King:

Speedrunners can be found in the Nether. They drop Souls of Speed, a crafting ingredient.

Speed Singularities can be crafted with Souls of Speed and several other items.

Ender Pearl Blocks can be crafted with ender pearls.

A Block of Dream can be crafted with Souls of Speed, a Speed Singularity, and Ender Pearl Blocks.

The Core of Dream is needed to summon the second boss. It can be crafted by liquifying a Block of Dream with a diamond.

Dream is the second boss of the mod. He can be summoned by using the Core of Dream.

On death, he drops Souls of Speed and the Totem of the Speedrunner. His defeat also unlocks the Mining Dimension.

The Totem of the Speedrunner is an item that, when held in the main hand, gives a large speed boost.

The Mining Dimension is the source of multiple new ores that will be mentioned in the next section.

He also has a 10% chance of dropping The Manhunter, a powerful weapon.

Post-Dream:

The Mining Dimension is unlocked now, giving access to lots of new content. It can be entered by finding a Mining Portal Altar in the overworld and right-clicking the portal block. To get back, find a Return Portal Altar in the Mining Dimension.

Loam can be found on the surface and underground Mining Dimension. It is a crafting ingredient and is also used as ammo for the Loam Gun.

Loam Boots can be crafted with loam and can be used to do powerful loam jump.

The Loam Gun can be crafted with Loam, a Block of Nether Essence, a Block of Overworld Essence, and the Void Catalyst. It is a very powerful weapon that uses Loam as ammo.

Dreamite can be found underground in the Mining Dimension and can be crafted into ingots by combining it with Souls of Speed and Uranium Dust.

The Dreamfruit can be crafted with Dreamite Ingots, Blocks of Overworld Essence, Blocks of Nether Essence, and an Enchanted Golden Apple. It gives permanent Luck I and Speed II.

Void Crystals can be found in geodes near the bottom of the Mining Dimension.

The Void Catalyst is needed to summon the third boss. It can be crafted with Void Crystals, Blocks of Overworld Essence, Blocks of Nether Essence, and a Soul of Void.

The Void Catalyst can also be used instead of a water bucket in the Liquifier to duplicate items with Void Crystals, and is not consumed upon being crafted with.

Void Enemies can be found on the surface of the Mining Dimension at night, or underground in the Mining Dimension at any time. They drop Souls of Void, a crafting ingredient.

The Super Sheep is the third boss of the mod. It can be summoned by using the Void Catalyst near a sheep or by using the Sheep Catalyst.

On death, it drops Souls of Void, Souls of Sheep, the Sheep Catalyst, and the Adventuring Table.

Souls of Sheep are a crafting ingredient.

The Loxcalibur can be crafted by liquifying the Slimexcalibur with a Soul of Sheep.

The Sheep Catalyst can be used to summon the Super Sheep without a sheep.

The Adventuring Table is a block that is used to get the new Adventurer villager profession.

Post-Super Sheep:

The Adventurer villager sells items from previous points in progression, as well as Wandering Trader Voodoo Dolls, which are needed to summon the fourth boss.

Trader's Revenge is the current final boss of the mod, and the final boss of the first stage of progression. He can be summoned by dropping a Wandering Trader Voodoo Doll into lava with a wandering trader nearby.

Currently, Trader's Revenge has no drops.

This mod requires Geckolib in order to function properly. JEI is also recommended but not required. This mod works on NeoForge "NeoForge" and only NeoForge. No, I cannot port the mod to other versions/loaders.
