It does not spawn a monster near you.
It keeps a record of you, and then it uses it.

Which of your four doors you actually use.
The mine you keep going back to.
The colour of the first bed you ever slept in.

Nothing is ever taken. Nothing is ever broken.
That is what makes it worse.

It starts quiet, and that is the design.
Nothing happens in your first ten minutes. The first hour is a sound with no source
and a door you were fairly sure you closed. After that it stops being deniable.
(Impatient, or recording? Every one of those timings is a number in the config.)

There is no boss. There is no lore book.
There is no explanation, ever.

Nothing is happening. Is it broken?
No — see above. Lower the stage timings in the config if you want it sooner.

Multiplayer?
Yes, and ten of its stages are built for it. No two players are ever told the same thing.

Can I configure it?
All of it, and any single part can be switched off.

Will it ruin my world?
No. Your inventory is never touched and nothing is destroyed. Dedicated servers supported.

Modpacks?
Yes — any pack, public or private. Credit and a link back is all I ask.
