The Crying Villager

Sometimes, when the world feels quiet enough… you might hear him.

A faint voice drifting through the air, soft, broken, almost human.
A lone villager appears in your world without warning, standing still as the wind moves around them.

They don’t trade.
They don’t run.
They don’t behave like the others.

Instead, they sing.

A slow, sorrowful melody that feels strangely familiar, as if the world itself is remembering something it lost long ago. The sound grows and fades depending on how close you are… but you may find yourself drawn toward it anyway.

Not every encounter is meant to last.
