- Massive overhaul of Surface Corruption.
- Three new Corruption blocks are added: Corrupt Sand (corrupts Sand, Red Sand and Gravel), Corrupt Dirt (corrupts Dirt, Soul Sand and Soul Soil), Corrupt Grass (corrupts Grass Block, Farmland, Podzol and Mycelium).
- New Corruption-exclusive plant is added: Corrupt Thorns. They grow in large quantities on Corrupt Grass, can spread up to 4 blocks up and indefinitely sideways. The thorns are easy to destroy and can be walked through, but slow down and damage entities similarly to Sweet Berries (Corruption-related mobs are immune).
- New hostile mob is added: Corrupt Worm. It frequently spawns on Corrupt Sand alongside Corrupt Eyes and serves as an alternative hazard to the thorns.
