The Burning Plot is a psychological survival-horror mod for Minecraft that transforms an ordinary world into a slowly deteriorating nightmare. At first, nothing seems particularly unusual. The world generates normally, mobs behave as expected, and the player can build, mine, explore, and survive.
Then the fires begin.
Not normal Minecraft fires. These flames appear in places where they shouldn't exist—deep underground, in the middle of oceans, inside abandoned structures, and sometimes directly behind the player. The longer the player investigates, the more obvious it becomes that the fires aren't random.
