Introduction:

The Boreal is a huge project of a mod that adds a new custom dimension with tons of interesting stuff to see. You will find new blocks, items, mobs, new ores and weapons, structures, all in an incredible boreal-themed dimension, with new biomes, trees, and an awesome terrain generation.

This mod for now it's only for Forge 1.20.1, but in a long-term future it'll be done in NeoForge 1.21.1.

REQUIRES: CC - Complementary Core from Alpha 0.0.3.1 and upper versions and REQUIRES Geckolib from Beta 0.1.0 and upper versions.

Remember that this mod for now is in Beta, so it has bugs and incomplete things, but still it has a lot of content and it's still a very fun and complete mod.

How to enter to The Boreal:

To enter to the Boreal dimension you need to craft the Frozen Amulet, and item that right-clicking in it, you'll be teleported to the Boreal. To craft this item you need 4 Prismarine Shards and one Ancient Ice Fragments, which is found in structures in the overworld called Ancient Snow Altars, found in snowy biomes. This structures are made of Boreal Stone, and in the center you will find a chest with one Ancient Ice Fragment. You need to find four of this structures to eb able to visit The Boreal.
Also there's compatibility with Biomes O'Plenty, Terralith and Regions Unexplored, so you should find this structures in snowy biomes of this mods.

How is The Boreal:

In the Boreal when you enter in it for the first time, you will see a boreal wasteland or a beutiful forest, depending on where you spawn. For now there's 6 biomes: Glacial Plains, Glacial Tundra, Auroral Forest, Snowy Auroral Forest, Glacial Shrubland and Glacial Desert. The Glacial Plains is a wasteland of Glacial Grass, and the Glacial Tundra is the same but with snow covering all the biome. You'll find in this biome the Glacial Wolfs, a hostile mob that you can tame with the correct item, and the Frozen Bears, a very dangerous mob that deals a lot of damage and runs a lot faster than you. You'll also find the Nocturnal Marsh biome, which is a brightful marsh covered in Nocturnal Tall Grass and also brightful plants like the Nocturnalight Shroom or the Nocturnalweed. The floor is made of Nocturnal Mud and patches of Glacial Soil.

Then you have the Auroral Forest and Snowy Auroral Forest, which are beutiful forests with tall auroral trees. In this forest you'll find Glacial Wolfs and Night Deers, a passive mob that does strange sounds.

How to Progress in The Boreal:

In the Boreal you'll find 3 new ores: the Talismandium, Chrodium and Diorium. These all are find in caves, and you can craft an armor with them, but for the Diorium weapons you also need Diorium Gems, which are find around the Boreal in some of the structures that are in this dimension. You need at least 1 Diorium Gem for every weapon or armor piece of this tier. The Diorium weapons and armor are unbreakable and a lot more powerful than netherite, but very hard to get.

The boss has a boss, which is found in the Boreal Prison dungeon. To locate this prison you'll need the Prison Locator, which can be crafted with 4 Talismandium Ingots and one Boreal Essence. This essence you can get it from the Boreal Essence Table, in which with Diorium Gems and a boreal item or block, you can convert it into it's overworld version and extract it's Boreal Essence.

With the Boreal Essence you can also with the Boreal Infuser enchant your weapons with custom enchantments of the mod.

The Boreal Prison is fullfill of Boreal Golems, from which you can get Boreal Shards, which are used to craft the Glacial Star Amulet, which is used to summon the boss by using this item in the Boreal Altar. The boss is called the Great Boreal Golem, and it does a lot of damage, but is very slow. It can summon Boreal Golems, and it has two phases. In the 2º phase it's inmune to projectiles and can summon more Boreal Golems, and also it deals you more damage and gives you Slowness and Weakness when you're hit by him.

When you killed this boss you are going to get 2 Boreal Enchanted Shards, which are used to craft the Boreal Summoner Staff, which is used to summon Boreal Golems that are your allies, but this item has limited durability and you cannot apply mending or unbreaking in it.
