🧱 Mokey Mod: Block Shuffle — The Minigame That Will Test Your Reflexes (and Your Luck)

Just imagine: the game announces — "Your block: Lava" — and you have to figure out where to find one before time runs out. Each round gets harder, and only one winner remains.

Block Shuffle Mokey is a mod for Minecraft 1.21.8 that turns any multiplayer server into a race against the clock: each player gets a different target block and has to stand on top of it before the timer hits zero. Whoever is fast — and smart — survives.

⚙️ How It Works

An admin starts the game, the mod assigns a random block to each connected player, and the timer starts counting down. A boss bar shows the remaining time and the current round in real time. Whoever stands on the correct block before time runs out advances; whoever fails is eliminated. Difficulty increases with each round level, with blocks becoming rarer and harder to find — until only one champion remains.

🛠️ Commands

The root command is /blockshuffle (shortcut /bs).

/bs start Begins a Block Shuffle match. Assigns a target block to every online player and starts the timer for the first round. Requires the configured minimum number of players (default setting).

/bs leave Lets a player leave an ongoing match. The mod automatically reevaluates how many players remain and ends the game if no one is still competing.

/bs stop (requires admin/operator permission) Ends the match immediately, clearing the boss bar and action bar for all players.

/bs reload (requires admin/operator permission) Reloads the configuration file (blockshuffle.json) and rebuilds the catalog of available blocks without needing to restart the server.

/bs help Shows the list of available commands with a brief description of each.

/bs about Displays information about the mod: name, version (1.0.0), and which Minecraft version it was built for (1.21.8).

🎮 Game Mechanics

Per-player draw: each participant gets their own target block, so it's not a race for a single item — it's individual.
Dynamic boss bar: shows the current level/round and remaining time, with a sound cue and message when the timer hits the halfway point.
Level progression: as rounds advance, the mod draws from lists of rarer and harder-to-find blocks (from level 1 up to the configured maximum level), with decreasing weight for blocks already used.
Elimination: anyone who fails to reach the correct block in time is removed from the match; the last player standing wins.
Disconnect detection: if a player drops from the server, they are automatically removed from the round without stalling the game for everyone else.
Biome filters: you can allow or block Nether- and End-exclusive blocks via configuration.
Block blacklist: problematic items (Dragon Egg, Beacon, Conduit, Sponges, etc.) are blocked by default, but fully customizable.
