The Backrooms Experience

Backrooms-inspired mod with 3 levels: The Lobby, Industrial Facility, and Pool Maze. Random noclip events pull you from the Overworld into the Backrooms. Explore, solve puzzles, avoid entities, and escape each level. More content planned.

CreativeMode Mods License
Version 1.2 – Effective 2026-08-17

This license governs the use, sharing, and distribution of all game modifications (“Mods”) generated using the CreativeMode platform at https://creativemode.net (“CreativeMode,” “we,” “our”). By downloading, using, or distributing a CreativeMode Mod, you agree to these terms.

1. Ownership
All CreativeMode Mods are the exclusive property of Argon, Inc. (d/b/a CreativeMode). All rights not expressly granted in this license are reserved.

2. Free Use & Hosting
Free Play – You may download and use the Mod free of charge for personal gameplay.

Free Hosting – You may host and share the Mod file for free, provided you meet the attribution and link requirements in Section 4.

3. Restrictions
You may not:
a. Claim the Mod or any derivative work as your own.
b. Monetize the Mod in any form, except as permitted under Section 5.
c. Include the Mod in any paid modpack or bundle.
d. Include the Mod on any premium server that requires payment, subscription, or donation for access.
e. Distribute the Mod behind a paywall, account registration requirement, or access gate that is not freely available to the public.

4. Attribution & Link Requirements
Whenever the Mod is hosted, mirrored, or otherwise made available for download, you must:
a. Clearly attribute the Mod to CreativeMode.net in a visible location on the download page or listing.
b. Include a link to:

c. Preserve the original filename and all embedded attribution notices, if any.
d. Include attribution and links in any included README or description file.

5. Permitted Monetization
You may monetize:

Videos, streams, or tutorials that use the Mod, provided the Mod itself is not sold, paywalled, or otherwise restricted in violation of this license.
Via creator payouts on modding platforms including Modrinth, CurseForge, and Nexus so long as the Mod itself is not sold, paywalled, or otherwise restricted in violation of this license, this mod license is preserved, and the link to CreativeMode.net and Mod License page is included on the mod listing page.

All other monetization requires prior written permission from CreativeMode.

6. Modifications for Private Use
You may modify the Mod solely for your own personal, private, local gameplay or private server use. You may not distribute, publish, upload, mirror, share, sell, sublicense, or otherwise make available any modified, patched, translated, decompiled, reverse-engineered, repackaged, renamed, or altered version of the Mod unless that version is created, exported, or expressly authorized through CreativeMode.

7. Configuration and Compatibility
You may use configuration files, settings, datapacks, resource packs, compatibility patches, translations, or add-ons that interoperate with the Mod, provided they do not include or redistribute CreativeMode Mod files, code, models, textures, or other assets and do not imply endorsement by CreativeMode.

8. Distribution of Original Files
Any public distribution of the Mod itself must use the original, unmodified file as provided by CreativeMode, with the original filename, attribution notices, and license information preserved.

9. Telemetry and Privacy
CreativeMode Mods may include optional pseudonymous usage analytics. Not all CreativeMode Mods include these analytics. Any CreativeMode Mod that includes them provides an opt-out in its Mod settings. This telemetry is not linked to your name, Minecraft identity, or CreativeMode account. We do not collect Minecraft UUIDs, Minecraft usernames, server addresses, user IP addresses, world data, or chat information through CreativeMode Mod telemetry. 10. Revocation
CreativeMode reserves the right to revoke this license for any user or entity who violates its terms. Upon revocation, you must immediately cease all distribution and remove all hosted copies of the Mod.

11. Enforcement
Violation of this license may result in takedown notices, legal action, and account termination on CreativeMode.net. We actively monitor for infringement and misuse.

12. Disclaimer
This Mod is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind. Use at your own risk.
