Scour jungle wilds and badlands temples to piece together lost tattered parchments. Uncover a custom 4x4 crafting system to forge powerful, ability-driven ancient weapons like the Ancestral Broadsword and The Obsolete Epoch.
The Ancestral Arsenal is a progression-based weapon and tool mod that requires players to actively explore the world to unlock its secrets. Instead of simply handing you a recipe book, you must hunt down the knowledge required to forge the game's most powerful ancient relics.
The Ore required to craft the weapons spawns from -11 to -64 in the overworld, and to mine it you need a diamond tier pickaxe or higher.
- The Scavenger Hunt: To begin forging, you must first locate the Tattered Parchment halves.
Tattered Parchment Left: Entombed undisturbed inside a coffer, deep within the jungle wilds.
Tattered Parchment Right: Hidden away within a badlands temple.
In the Badlands temple you can find the custom 4x4 crafting table, in which you can craft The Ancestral Hammer:
In order to see the hammer in the red output slot you have to click the FORGE button.
Recipe for the full parchment:
(Crafting is shapeless for the parchment.)
Once both halves are secured, combine them into the Full Parchment to reveal the lost knowledge of the ancients.
The Ancestral Arsenal Crafting table:
- Standard 3x3 crafting is not enough to handle Ancient Amber. This mod features a custom 4x4 crafting block specifically designed for forging your end-game gear.
The Arsenal (Active Abilities)
- Weapons in this mod are not just stat-sticks; they feature active, right-click abilities managed by dedicated cooldowns to maintain combat balance.
Ancestral Broadsword: Right-click to release a devastating flying Slashwave. (24-second cooldown)
The recipe for the Ancestral Broadsword:
The Ancestral Hammer: Right-click to trigger a localized explosion that damages all nearby enemies while leaving you unharmed. (18-second cooldown)
The recipe for The Ancestral Hammer:
Ancestral Pickaxe: Right-click to instantly gain Haste II for 12 seconds, perfect for rapid mining bursts. (33-second cooldown)
The recipe for the Ancestral Pickaxe:
The Obsolete Epoch: A powerful relic bow from a forgotten era. (not finished yet)
The only way to obtain it is to get it through /give
**Update:** The game crashes, when the item is given through /give, sorry for the inconvenience, although after you rejoin the game you can find the bow you gave yourself with /give in your inventory, and its working, but without any animations.
