Warm Sky: Changelog

Dimension: Warm Sky

• Added the Warm Sky dimension: floating islands in six coloured biomes, with an aurora night sky.
• Added a moss-block portal. Light it with flint and steel to enter.
• Added the Cloudbound music: separate day and night tracks that play in the dimension.
• Added seven advancements in a new Cloudbound tab.
• Beds work at any time in the dimension.

Peace of Mind effect

• Added Peace of Mind, a custom status effect. It gives 8 extra absorption hearts that refill 2 hearts every 4 seconds.
• Gained for 30 minutes when you leave the dream.
• Absorption hearts turn white while Peace of Mind is active. Other absorption stays golden.

World generation

• Added coal, iron, diamond, emerald and amethyst blocks on the undersides of the islands. Some are exposed and some are hidden.
• Added vines and many more flowers and plants.
• Added more sheep, in all 16 dye colours.
• Smokey trees now grow on the islands.

Cloud ore set

• Added Cloud Ore, Raw Cloud, Cloud Ingot and Block of Cloud Ingot.
• Cloud Ore takes about 80 seconds to mine with a diamond pickaxe and needs a diamond-tier pickaxe or better.
• Raw Cloud is edible. It restores 1 hunger bar and gives Jump Boost III and Slow Falling I for 30 seconds.
• Added Cloud Block and Cloud Bricks as decorative blocks.
• Added recipes for smelting, blasting, and crafting ingots, blocks and bricks.

Smokey tree set

• Added Smokey Log, Stripped Smokey Log, Smokey Wood, Stripped Smokey Wood, Smokey Planks, Stairs, Slab and Leaves.
• Smokey leaves drop sticks, and drop themselves when sheared.

In progress

• Smokey Sapling, Smokey Door and Smokey Trapdoor (built, not yet tested)

Known issues

• Smokey logs can’t be stripped with an axe yet.

Planned

• Cloud tools and armour, stronger than netherite. The armour gives permanent Feather Falling II, and the sword applies Levitation IV to what it hits.
• A new Warm Sky mob: an original cloud bunny.
• Four more dimensions later on
