I am currently working on a new mod I'm naming ₮ɇɽɽł฿ⱡɇ ₵ⱡ₳₩

This Mod consists of three different entities, deinonychus, utahraptor, and megaraptor, which have many different AI and behavioral functions put into each entity. YOU CAN USE THE CONFIG FOLDER TO CHANGE THE SPAWNING OF THE ENTITY. THE NUMBERS ARE ALL A CHANCE IN EVERY TICK. BASICALLY MAKE THE NUMBER HIGHER TO MAKE IT RARER, AND MAKE THE NUMBER LOWER TO MAKE IT SPAWN MORE FREQUENT! 20 TICKS = 1 SECOND

THIS MOD IS MOSTLY MEANT FOR SINGLE PLAYER/SOLO PLAY! SOME SOUNDS MIGHT NOT PLAY IF PLAYING MULTIPLAYER!

NOTE THAT THE ENTITY ALSO HAS 2 STALKING PHASES, THE PHASE EXPLAINED MAINLY IN THIS SECTION IS THE OFFICIAL SPAWN WHEN THE ENTITY SEARCHES AND TRIES TO FIND AND ATTACK THE PLAYER. BASICALLY, THE ENTITY HAS 3 DIFFERENT BEHAVIORS IN ALL!

How Do I Avoid It?

When the Therizinosaur stomps into your territory, it will search for you. Luckily, its line of sight isn't very good. As it searches for you, it will wander around. The ONLY WAY you can avoid this entity is by not making noise AT ALL! This includes not attacking other entities around it, not eating food, not breaking blocks, not placing blocks (I think), and other ways of making sound. But, most of all, Never, and I mean NEVER not crouch. I reccomend staying crouched, because the second you're standing or out of crouching position, the Therizinosaur will see you and proceed to chase you. Also note, this entity is NOT blind, it just doesn't have the best line of sight, so it can be hard for it to find the player, hence it going off of hearing and seeing the player not crouching. In all, the best way to avoid it to to ALWAYS BE CROUCHING! Although if you're far enough away, it will not hear you, but if you stand up, it will still be able to see you, so be aware and again, always crouch to avoid it!

How Do I Combat It?

Therizinosaur is COMPLETELY IMMUNE to and sort of melee attack, arrows, explosions, and will even shred iron golems apart. As you can see, this entity has feathers all over its body, making it highly flammable. I suggest always keeping many flint and steels kept in your inventory. Therizinosaur, though, is very smart, and knows how to pathfind through the fire, so time it as quick as possible. If it gets lit on fire, it will stop, playing a "hurt" animation, and giving the player the chance to run, or to plan other ways to set the entity on fire. (NOTE THAT THE ENTITY CANNOT BE KILLED WITH LAVA!)

Therizinosaur Lore:

"Therizinosaurus is naturally a herbivore, right? Why should I be worried?" Scientists had conducted an experiment in making dinosaurs more aggresive than usual, to attract more to come and see the dinosaurs. This was only performed on herbivores, and was tested on Therizinosaurus, being one of the most territorial herbivores out of the bunch. This led to many problems with this one specific animal, and sooner than later, it escaped it's research lab with no trace. Each Scientist was hunted one by one, and you, have a goal of stopping it. Taking it out once and for all. I wish you the best of luck defeating this large dangerous beast.

MODS NEEDED:

Install Geckolib for the mod to work, if it doesnt have geckolib, it will not be able to function at all
I reccomend using scary shaders to boost the fear factor
Also Reccomend Using fire related mods as long as the weapons aren't too powerful. The entity was ballanced to make sure it can be killed with flint and steel.

THE FOLLOWING WILL SPOIL WHAT THE ENTITY CAN DO!

1. It can watch from afar, specifically a 40 block distance, walking up to the player if they get too far. If the player gets within a 20 block distance, it will run, leaving no trace

2. It can sneak up on the player from behind, attempting to attack the player. If the player doesn't look at it, it will hit you, then run away. If the player looks at it, it will simply run away.

3. This is the most dangerous behavior of all. If you hear footsteps and a low growl, there is a chance the Therizinosaur is in your territory. This is its searching phase, when it looks for the player. If the player does not make any noise, then it will soon go away, leaving no trace of where it went. If the player is seen, then the entity will roar at the player then chase after it, forcing the player to run or fight back with fire.
