Thanos Boss Fight brings a powerful new boss encounter inspired by the Mad Titan into Minecraft, introducing a custom enemy, a dedicated battle arena and Infinity Stone-inspired combat abilities.
🌌 About the Mod
ThanosBoss adds a sequence of villain encounters that leads to a custom, multi-phase battle against Thanos. Craft arena keys, face each villain in their own themed arena, and collect Champion Marks to advance.
The encounters, bosses, arenas, keys, and progression are included in the mod. You don’t need Infinity Skies or a Marvel content mod to play. GeckoLib is required for the animated Thanos boss.
⚔️ Features
🦹 Eight Villain Encounters
Fight eight villains, each with their own character, model, arena, and signature attacks:
- Red Skull calls in Hydra agents and attacks with precision volleys.
- Loki uses illusions, frost, and arcane attacks.
- Ultron Prime uses optic beams and a nanite repair pulse.
- Hela attacks with tracking Nightswords and Hel wraiths.
- Erik Killmonger lunges with his spear and releases stored kinetic force.
- Ronan the Accuser uses Universal Weapon blasts and shockwaves.
- Ebony Maw lifts players before slamming them down and fires telekinetic shards.
- The Black Order fight as Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight, using coordinated attacks.
These are dedicated ThanosBoss characters with mod-owned models, textures, projectiles, and attack behaviors.
🗝️ Craftable Keys and Progression
Craft a key for each villain and right-click it to enter the encounter. Defeating a villain awards a Champion Mark used to craft the next key.
The finale is unlocked with the eight Champion Marks and a Warden Crest. The Warden Contract and Crest provide an additional encounter and progression step.
🟣 Five-Phase Thanos Fight
Enter Thanos’s dedicated arena with the Thanos Arena Key and face a custom animated boss whose attacks draw on the Infinity Stones.
Thanos uses a growing range of abilities as the fight progresses, including slams, Power blasts, Space effects, Reality and Mind attacks, Soul and Time abilities, and the Snap. His attacks have visual warnings so players can react to incoming danger.
The arena builds automatically the first time it is entered. Your key is consumed when you arrive; use /thanos leave to return to your saved location.
🏛️ Dedicated Arenas
Each villain has a themed arena within the mod’s Trial dimension. Thanos has a separate custom arena that is generated by the mod, so players don’t need to build one themselves.
The mod handles arena entry, saved return locations, encounter completion, rewards, and recovery when a player dies during a trial.
⚙️ Server Configuration
The server config lets pack makers tune the villain trials, including boss health and damage, special-attack cooldowns, warning time, and dodge chance.
Choose between:
SERVER_WIDE— one shared villain encounter at a time.PER_PLAYER— separate encounters for solo players or teams.
When FTB Teams is installed, online members of the key holder’s team can join that player’s private fight. Without FTB Teams, the encounter is solo.
