TFM's Mining Expansion (Drills, Ores, Bosses, etc.)

Install

- TFM's Mining Expansion -

➤ This is a mining expansion mod that adds drills, throwable dynamite, new ores, gem daggers and battle axes, new armor sets, a haste potion recipe, a Mining Camp structure with loot, an underground dungeon named the Forsaken Forge (always at y=16) with loot and bits of lore, and an array of creatures, both cave-dwelling and some you may find on the surface.

Drills!

➤ Drills can be used to mine a 3x3 area quickly, just break a center block and it will dig out a 3x3 area underground. Apart from varying durability, each drill provides a unique bonus when right-clicked expect for the Iron Drill. There are nine total drills made from different ores/gems: Iron, Diamond (7s of Haste, 1m Cooldown), Netherite (10s of Fire Resistance, 1m Cooldown), Ruby (7s of Regeneration, 1m Cooldown), Amethyst (Drops 1 Coal, 1m Cooldown), Sapphire (10s of Speed, 1m Cooldown), Topaz (7s of Strength, 1m Cooldown), Jade (10s of Jump Boost, 1m Cooldown), and Opal (7s of Strength & 10s of Speed, Drops 1 Raw Iron, 1m30s Cooldown). To construct a drill, you will require a Drill Base, crafted from an Iron Block, a Battery, and a Copper Block, as well as a Drill Head, crafted using the particular valuables you want the drill to be made of.

New Ores & Gems!

➤ A plethora of new ores have been added in the normal stone variant and in the deepslate variant if the ore is located deeper. From these ores, you'll acquire precious gems including Ruby, Amethyst, Sapphire, Topaz, Jade, and the rare Opal. In the Nether, you can find Kyanite and in the End, you may come across Void Jewels; Void Jewels are quite rare, though if you look hard enough, particularly through the gateway after defeating the dragon, you'll find what you need (Elytra recommended, you can also drill into the sides of the End Islands). All of these resources can be used to craft many things such as armor, weapons, tools, and et cetera.

Mobs & Bosses!

Mobs

➤ Dwarves; found in the mountainous regions of the world. Friendly, but will fight back if attacked.

➤ Goblins; found in Swamps and Dripstone Caves, they have a 7% chance to drop a Goblin Silver chunk with four chunks being able to craft one Goblin Silver bar. In order to obtain any of the three Goblin Silver weapons (Dagger, Cutlass, Claymore), you must upgrade a Weaponsmith villager to Master and there's a chance to purchase one and/or two of the three weapons using Goblin Silver bars and emeralds. You may also use the Goblin Silver to create rings.

➤ Trolls; they spawn in the dark areas of the world to shade from too much sunlight, they particularly enjoy Dark Forests. They carry clubs and can drop Troll Bogeys, a new method of crafting Slime Balls if needed.

➤ Cave Mushrooms; small living mushrooms that live in Lush Caves and Dark Forests. These creatures have a 10% chance to drop a Super Mushroom.

➤ Gnomes; annoying little pests that may steal something from your inventory when you're not looking, and even if you are. Typically found in forests, but can be spotted underground as well.

Bosses

➤ The Basilisk; drops a unique treasure bag containing Basilisk Scales and other loot. The serpent's scales may be used to craft the Basilisk Blade and the Basilisk Pickaxe. The Basilisk's chamber may be found in flat, grassy areas of the world.

➤ The Spider Queen; drops a unique treasure bag containing Spider Queen Silk and other loot. Her webs may be used to craft the Spider Queen Bow. The Spider Queen's lair will be hidden in a Dark Forest to shade this arachnid matriarch.
