TFMG Tank Compatibility

A small compatibility addon that lets Create's Blaze Burner recognise TFMG fluid tanks in its check for the block above it.

The problem

In Create 6.0.10 with TFMG 1.2.0, the Blaze Burner's block-above check recognises Create basins and fluid tanks but leaves out TFMG's tanks. This can matter in modpacks that place a TFMG tank directly above a Create burner.

Why it happens

TFMG's steel, aluminum and cast iron tanks are ordinary block classes rather than subclasses of Create's fluid-tank block. The existing type check therefore does not recognise them as tanks.

Scope of the fix

The addon adds those three TFMG tanks to the existing recognition check while preserving Create's supported blocks and its virtual-world exclusion.

Tank capacities, stored fluids, connections, recipes and heating rules retain their original behaviour. This is a recognition fix; heating and Mechanical Arm fuel delivery in a particular modpack still depend on that pack's other mods and configuration.

The initial addon also includes limited diagnostic logging for related Mechanical Arm interactions and burner heat readings.

Use this addon when your setup encounters the described recognition gap. Other TFMG versions and independent burner implementations are not covered by this release.

From Steam & Steel

The addon originated in Steam & Steel SMP, our custom Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge server modpack using Create and TFMG. It is available independently of the full modpack and does not require SteamSteelCore.

Release / Feedback

The fix grew out of problems encountered and tested by players on our Steam & Steel SMP server, within its specific modpack. Behaviour in other modpacks may differ.
