Adds steel quench hardening with TFC barrels: plunge a hot steel tool head into liquid to harden it and apply a forging quality bonus
Place a hot steel tool head (≥1200°C) into an open barrel of liquid to instantly cool it and apply a forging quality bonus (EXPERT or PERFECT), with stat multipliers to efficiency, durability, and damage. The quenching medium determines the risk/reward.
Quench outcomes:
- Fresh water — 20% Perfect, 60% Expert, 20% failed(debuff)
- Oil water — 25% Perfect, 65% Expert, 10% failed(debuff)
- Oil — 30% Perfect, 70% Expert, 0% failed(debuff)
- Salt water — 40% Perfect, 20% Expert, 40% failed(debuff)
Supported fluids: Water — minecraft:water and any fluid tagged #minecraft:water Salt water — tfc:salt_water Oil — #c:plantoil, #c:tallow, gtceu:lubricant Oil water — tfc:olive_oil_water, tfc:canola_oil_water, gtceu:oil_water
Works with all TFC steel tiers (steel, black steel, blue steel, red steel) tool heads and blades. No new blocks or items.
