TFC Coconut Tree Extension

This is a standalone addon mod for TerraFirmaCraft that introduces a complete coconut tree system — naturally generating, plantable, and fruit-bearing year-round. You can find wild coconut trees in tropical biomes, or grow your own by cultivating coconut saplings, waiting for the tree to mature, and harvesting whole coconuts. Use a chisel to crack them open into edible coconuts.

Natural Generation

Coconut trees integrate with TFC's fruit tree world generation system and only spawn in suitable tropical environments. Similar to banana trees, but with higher moisture and temperature requirements.

Planting & Growth

Players can craft 1 Coconut Sapling using 1 Whole Coconut + 1 Fertilizer.

Saplings can be planted on TFC bush-plantable ground and various sand blocks.

Saplings require 6 blocks of vertical clearance above them for the main trunk, plus 1 additional block at the top.

The sapling takes 6 days to grow the first trunk section, and another 6 days for the second stage.

Survival & Fruiting Parameters

Minimum Survival Temperature: 5°C

Minimum Survival Humidity: 18

Minimum Fruiting Temperature: 20°C

Minimum Fruiting Humidity: 40

Coconut trees are not restricted by month and can bear fruit year-round.

Fruiting Cycle:

After reaching maturity, the tree waits 8 days to enter the flowering stage, then another 8 days to reach the mature fruiting stage.

If conditions no longer meet survival requirements, a living coconut tree will convert entirely into a withered tree.

Harvesting & Drops

When mature, coconuts can be harvested like TFC fruit trees. Each harvest yields 6 Whole Coconuts.

After harvesting, the tree remains and enters the next fruiting cycle.

Chopping down the entire tree drops:

- 1 Coconut Sapling

- 4 to 7 Sticks

- If the tree is in the mature fruiting stage, an additional 4 Edible Coconuts

Withered trees will continue to decay randomly over time.

Whole Coconut & Opening

Whole Coconuts cannot be eaten directly — they must be cracked open first.

Two ways to open:

- Hold a Whole Coconut in one hand and a Chisel in the other, then right-click

- Use a Whole Coconut + Chisel in the crafting grid

Result:

- 1 Whole Coconut yields 2 Edible Coconuts

- The Chisel loses 1 durability

Information Tooltips

Whole Coconuts display hints on how to craft saplings and how to crack them open.

Holding Shift on a sapling shows survival conditions, fruiting conditions, and growth cycle.

Using a TFC hoe to inspect a sapling or mature tree displays the current temperature, humidity, fruiting requirements, and whether the sapling has enough room to grow.

群峦椰子树拓展

这是一个面向 TerraFirmaCraft 的独立补充模组，为 TFC 加入一整套能自然生成、能人工种植、能全年结果的椰子树内容。你可以在热带找到野生椰子树，也可以自己使用椰子培育树苗、等待树体长高、采收完整椰子，再用凿子把椰子打开成可食用版本。

【自然生成】

椰子树会接入 TFC 的果树世界生成体系，只会出现在适合它的热带环境中。

和香蕉树接近，但水分和温度要求更高.

【种植与生长】

玩家可以用 1 个完整椰子加 1 个肥料合成 1 个椰子树苗。

树苗可种在 TFC 灌木可种地面和各种沙地上。

树苗生长需要从树苗上方预留 6 格主生长空间，顶部额外再留 1 格。

树苗长成第一段树干需要 6 日第二阶段6日

【生存与结果参数】

生存最低温度：5°C

生存最低湿度：18

结果最低温度：20°C

结果最低湿度：40

椰子树不受月份限制，可以全年结果。

结果周期：

成树后先等待 8 个日进入开花阶段

再经过 8 个日进入成熟结果阶段

如果环境不再满足生存条件，活体椰子树会整棵转化为枯树。

【采收与掉落】

成熟后可像 TFC 果树一样采收。

每次采收可获得 6 个完整椰子。

采收后树不会消失，只会回到下一轮结果循环。

砍倒整棵树时，统一掉落：

1 个椰子树苗

4 到 7 个木棍

如果树正处于成熟结果阶段，还会额外掉落 4 个可食用椰子。

枯树会继续随机破败。

【完整椰子与开椰】

完整椰子不能直接食用，需要打开后才能变成可食用椰子。

打开方式有两种：

手持完整椰子，并在另一只手拿凿子右键

在合成栏中使用完整椰子加凿子

打开结果：

1 个完整椰子可以变成 2 个可食用椰子

凿子会损失 1 点耐久

【信息提示】

完整椰子会提示如何合成树苗、如何开椰。

树苗按住 Shift 时会显示生存条件、结果条件和成长周期。

使用 TFC 的锄头信息查看树苗或成树时，还能直接看到当前温度、湿度、结果要求，以及树苗是否有足够生长空间。
