terrano-1.1.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Terrain and biome surfaces
- Fixed scattered patches of bare stone appearing in biomes that should have grass, dirt, sand, or another surface material. Correct biome surfaces now follow the actual Terrano terrain even thousands of blocks from spawn.
- Fixed air holes, cracks, and exposed cave openings in seas and oceans. The seabed and water column are protected while deep caves and aquifers below the ocean floor remain intact.
- Fixed isolated one-block differences and other uneven spots on the ocean surface caused by cave carving near the seabed.
- Fixed rare differences along chunk borders so neighboring terrain no longer depends on which side was generated first.
Trees and mushrooms
- Custom trees now search for the real terrain surface before being placed, improving placement on slopes and uneven ground.
- A tree can no longer treat another trunk or a layer of leaves as valid soil.
- Fixed the most common cases of trees floating above the terrain, especially with the stronger terrain settings in the Beautiful preset.
- Custom vegetation remains available in suitable vanilla land biomes.
Player spawning
- Terrano now selects the world spawn from its real terrain instead of an approximate vanilla surface.
- Spawn selection rejects oceans, flooded areas, coastlines, wetlands, and slopes that are too steep.
- In continental world modes, the search starts near the closest continent and expands deterministically until it finds safe land.
- Fixed players sometimes spawning in water or far out in a deep ocean.
Biomes and Ancient Cities
- The Deep Dark can now be selected at the height where Minecraft evaluates an Ancient City start.
- Ancient Cities once again participate in normal structure generation and can
be found with the standard
/locatecommand.
Surface structures
- Added limited terrain fitting for Woodland Mansions, villages, Pillager Outposts, and compatible surface jigsaw structures.
- Structures receive a more stable foundation, reducing pieces buried deep in slopes or left floating above the ground.
- The adjusted area blends back into the original landscape over 12 blocks.
- Underground and ocean structures are not changed by this feature.
- Terrain fitting can be disabled in a preset with
miscellaneous.structureTerrainAdaptation=false.
Nature's Compass and Explorer's Compass
- Greatly improved Nature's Compass biome-search speed in Terrano worlds.
- Improved Explorer's Compass searches for random-spread, concentric-ring, and other structures without generating thousands of full chunks in sequence.
- Large searches are processed in controlled asynchronous batches so the logical server can continue ticking.
- Unfinished searches are cancelled before world saving and server shutdown. This fixes the endless saving screen that could appear after a very large search.
- Both integrations remain optional; neither compass mod is required to run Terrano.
