-MASSIVELY REDUCED WORLD GEN LAG

 

-Also greatly reduced the generation rate of shrubs

 

-Updated the backend of Sewing Recipes to make them easier to work with
--Added dynamic repair patterns for sewing recipes
--Many clothing pieces will give you scraps of cloth/fur back when crafted to reduce
--the cost of the item

 

-Split the Torso body part into Torso and Arms, which function independently for armor calculations


-Reworked the Innate armor properties of most mobs
--Zombies are harder to kill now
--Spiders have innate armor
--Skeletons are no longer completely immune to all piercing damage
--Added innate armor for large animals such as aurochsen and horses

 

-Pottery and glass bottles now smash on the ground if dropped from a sufficient height
--Large Vessels full of water can put out fires when they smash
--Vessels of gunpowder dropped on fire will explode

 

-Reworked Armor calculations:
--Armor has a Damage Threshold value based on the structural material of the piece (eg copper plate armor).
--Damage Thresholds decrease as the armor degrades in durability
--Armor also has protection percentage values for the main damage types Crushing, Piercing, and Slashing.
--When you are hit with an attack, the incoming damage is compared against the damage threshold for your armor.
--The armor will block a percentage of the incoming damage up to its damage threshold.
--If the incoming damage exceeds the damage threshold of the armor, your armor will take durability damage.
--An example of an attack: your armor has 80% protection against Crushing and a Damage Threshold of 300.
--If you are attacked for 200 crushing damage, your armor will absorb 80% of it, which is 160 damage.
--The other 40 damage is dealt to you. If the incoming damage was 400, your armor would only absorb 300 of it (the maximum)
--And it would suffer a mechanical failure.
--If you have additional protection underneath (such as clothing), the reduced damage will be applied to it.
--This allows you to significantly reduce incoming damage by layering your armor on top of clothing.
--If incoming damage doesn't exceed the damage threshold, it's damage type will be converted to Crushing
--if it was Piercing or Slashing.

 

-Added Tannin as a fluid that can spawn in the world.

--Tannin can now be carried in red steel buckets

--Added tannin ice


-Added a new Biome, the Peat Bog, which will generate in Swamp biomes with a high pH value.


-Reworked how the pH datalayer is generated.

--Also added variation in grass color to make grass look more dynamic

 

-Addons should be able to put their own plants in flower pots now.

 

-Vessels and sacks should be able to hold all food types now

 

-Added a new type of horn for sheep to drop
--Added the ability to turn the new type of horn into a different type of blowing horn

 

-Added three new achievements

 

-Added oreDict entry for lime and ammonium chloride as fluxes


-Added oreDict entry for Yew items (can make a workbench out of yew now)

 

-Disabled Armor Stands. You can't put anything on them now.
