TensuraOpenUniverses: Disboard
Welcome to Disboard, the world of No Game No Life, where every conflict is settled by a game.
Disboard adds ten bosses from No Game No Life to Tensura: Reincarnated, climbing from 1 million to 1 billion EP. Each one is built around its own mechanic: brute force alone will not be enough, you have to read the fight. Beat them all to collect the ten Pieces of the Ixseeds races, which will open the final challenge against Tet, the One True God of Games.

Every boss has two phases, and from the Demonia King onward, a third one below 20% health.
A few highlights
- Izuna — lightning-fast leaps and claw combos. In phase 2, Boiling Blood: she ricochets between the dojo pillars (stick to a pillar), then collapses exhausted and takes extra damage.
- Fiel & Kurami — a duo sharing one health bar. Four elemental magic circles shield Fiel until you break their crystals; in phase 2 she hides among shadowless doubles. Kurami heals her, but taking Kurami down enrages Fiel.
- Plum — turns into a swarm of bats and drains your life with his bite. Knock a chandelier down onto him to stun him. In phase 2 he hides as a statue among fakes, and a blood contract forces a marked player to hit him in time.
- The Siren Queen — when she sings, look away or be drawn to her. Minor sirens heal her. In phase 2 her tide floods the arena: stay in the central air bubble or catch the floating bubbles.
- Einzig — four terminals shield him (hold right-click to shut one down) and spawn Prüfer, Seher and Kampf units. While a Prüfer lives, the cluster halves the damage types it has already taken. In phase 2 Einzig copies the type of your last attack and fires a charged Dragon Roar beam: take cover.
- The Demonia King — portals spawn his army, he possesses your allies, rains meteors, and absorbs his devoted soldiers to heal.
- Jibril — she lives on a floating island that generates naturally in the sky, reading in a ruined library. She ignores you unless you carry the Demonia Piece. In phase 2 she charges Tengeki: hide under the domes of light. She returns 7 days after her defeat.
- Sora & Shiro — Blank never loses: knock one out and the other revives them, so you have to take out both at once. Shiro predicts where you will be when she aims. Sora bluffs about where his cards will fly. Phase 2 is the Material Shiritori: every word erases something from the arena (Light, Gravity, Ground, Air). Phase 3 turns the arena into a chessboard.
- Aranleif — flies around a snowy peak while crystal pillars heal him. Break a pillar to bring him down. His scales reflect your attacks when they glow. Then comes the Last Roar: interrupt it, or take cover behind the pillar debris.
- Avant Heim — the Defiance item teleports your group onto the back of a colossal flying creature, in a dedicated dimension. Destroy the four guarded cores, survive the island tilting, then the great sweeping beam. You are sent back home after the fight.
How it works
- Craft the Disboard Altar and place it in an open area.
- Right-click it with a boss's Defiance item to summon that boss. Each Defiance requires the Piece of the previous boss.
- The boss builds a closed arena around the altar. The players inside when the fight starts are the participants.
- If everyone leaves or dies, the boss disappears after 30 seconds and gives the Defiance back.
- The altar shows the symbol of every boss already defeated on it.
Rewards
- The boss's Piece for every participant.
- Shared EP: a share of the boss's EP is split between every participant, instead of going only to whoever lands the last hit.
- Fixed Demon Lord souls for participants carrying the Demon Lord Seed.
- Unique items, mostly Curios accessories:
- Izuna's Bell
- Plum's Cape
- the Siren Queen's Scale
- Einzig's Analysis Module
- the Demonia King's Crown
- the Flügel Feather
- the Crown of Elkia
- Sora's Smartphone, which analyses your target and shows a boss's next attack
- Aranleif's Scale
- Avant Heim Fragment decorative blocks.
Balance and configuration
- Health scales with the number of players in the arena.
- Global health and damage multipliers are in
tou_disboard-server.toml, plus each boss's health and souls. - Bosses never break blocks by default. Use
/gamerule disboardBossGriefing trueto enable it. - Anti-cheese rules:
- bosses return to the centre of the arena if pulled out of it;
- they reach players who are perched or hiding;
- they ignore damage dealt from outside the arena.
- Bosses cannot heal while under Tensura's Infinite Imprisonment.
Compatibility
- Tensura Progression: Disboard bosses appear in its boss arena.
- Tensura: bosses count for the Hero awakening, and Tensura's EP and soul drops are replaced by Disboard's shared rewards.
Coming next
- Tet: offer the ten Pieces at the Altar of Tet and challenge the One True God in a best-of-three: Blackjack, Poker, then Chess. Lose, and the Pieces are gone.
