1. Scope and ownership
This license covers the original source code, compiled code, artwork, textures,
models, animations, shaders, audio, documentation and other original assets in
this mod (the "Mod") to the extent owned by the copyright holders. Access to the
source does not make the Mod open source or transfer ownership.
Third-party material, including Minecraft, Tensura and other mods, fonts,
libraries and any separately licensed material, remains subject to its own
licenses and rights. Preserve all applicable third-party notices. This license
does not replace those terms or grant rights the copyright holders do not own.
2. Playing, servers and personal changes
You may download, install, run and make backup copies of the Mod for personal
play, development, testing and servers, including public servers. You may inspect
the source and make changes for your own use. These permissions do not authorize
public distribution of modified Mod binaries, copied source or extracted assets.
3. Modpacks — expressly permitted
You may include and redistribute unmodified official releases of the Mod in
private or public modpacks, on CurseForge or other distribution platforms,
without asking for additional permission. Manifest-based downloads and bundled
official Mod jars are both permitted.
Keep the Mod's identity, copyright, license and third-party notices intact, and
provide credit and a link to the official Mod project in the pack's mod list or
credits. You may distribute pack configs, scripts and integration data alongside
the Mod. Do not sell the Mod itself, claim authorship or impose terms that remove
the permissions granted by this license. Modpack inclusion does not license the
Mod's code or assets for reuse elsewhere.
4. Addon mods — expressly permitted
You may create, publish and distribute independently authored addon and
compatibility mods that require or interact with the Mod. Addons may call its
available APIs, refer to its identifiers and use independently written adapters,
reflection or mixins to integrate at runtime.
An addon must not bundle the Mod, copy its implementation or redistribute its
original assets, except for an unmodified official release distributed as part
of a modpack under section 3. Runtime references to assets already supplied by an
installed Mod are allowed. You retain ownership of your own original addon code
and assets and may choose their license. Identify unofficial addons clearly and
do not imply endorsement by Pixelated Industries.
5. Screenshots, recordings and project promotion
You may publish gameplay screenshots, GIFs, videos, reviews and tutorials that
show the Mod, including monetized recordings. You may reuse the promotional
screenshots and GIFs supplied with the Mod to describe or promote the Mod or a
modpack that includes it, with credit. This permission does not allow extracting
or republishing the underlying artwork, fonts, audio or other assets as an asset
pack or as assets for a different project.
6. Uses requiring written permission
Except as allowed above, by a separately applicable license or by law, prior
written permission from the relevant copyright holders is required to copy or
reuse the Mod's source or assets in another project; publish modified builds,
forks or ports; rebrand the Mod; sell the Mod or its assets; or distribute
standalone mirrors and reuploads of the Mod. Ask through the official project
before undertaking those uses.
7. Names, notices and other rights
Keep copyright and license notices with every permitted copy. No trademark,
branding or endorsement rights are granted beyond accurate identification of
the Mod. Nothing in this license limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
8. Warranty and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Mod is provided "as is",
without warranties of any kind. The copyright holders and contributors are not
liable for claims, damages or other liability arising from the Mod or its use.
9. Compliance
Permissions under this license apply while you comply with its conditions.
Uses outside these permissions require a separate written grant from the
relevant copyright holders.
