Teleport Animation (0.0.0-beta.3)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
v0.0.0-beta.3 - First public build for Minecraft 1.20.1
First public beta for Minecraft 1.20.1 / NeoForge 47.1.99 (NeoForge legacy line, net.minecraftforge API). Brings the 1.20.1 build in line with the current 1.21.1 fix line.
Fixed
- Flash between animation stages: the terrain is no longer fully rebuilt every time the camera changes height; a lightweight update is used instead.
- Overlay drawn once: the transition overlay is rendered from a single hook, and the fade-to-black that hides long trips while destination chunks load is now included.
- Smoother travel: still top-down hold before travelling, smooth slide for nearby waystones, and the descent waits for destination chunks.
- Dedicated servers: the server no longer reads client-only config values, and client-only mixins are no longer loaded on the server.
- Waystones arrival: the destination chunk and its neighbours are force-loaded before teleporting (prevents landing underground), and the arrival point targets the walk surface.
- Config file: the config is now a native Forge config (
config/teleport_animation-client.toml), created with defaults on first launch. - Sodium 0.6+ / Embeddium support for the lightweight terrain refresh.
Added
- Stage flash intensity option (GitHub issue #2):
stepFlashIntensityinconfig/teleport_animation-client.toml, range0.0–1.0, default1.0.0disables the stage flash.
Notes
Requires Waystones (and its library Balm) for Minecraft 1.20.1; the launcher installs it automatically. Beta: please report any issue on GitHub. Verified: ./gradlew clean build is green.
