TDClaim
TDClaim provides rectangular claim areas for locations such as marketplaces, shops, exhibitions, public buildings, and protected construction projects. Claims use exact block coordinates on the X and Z axes and cover the full height of their dimension.
Claims are managed by operators rather than owned by individual players. Two corners are selected with a configurable tool, and nearby claim boundaries can be displayed with colored particles. Claims cannot overlap, and oversized selections are rejected.
Permissions
Each claim has public permission settings and optional overrides for individual players. The following actions can be controlled separately:
- Breaking and placing blocks
- Using blocks, doors, buttons, signs, beds, and similar objects
- Opening containers and machine inventories
- Dropping items
- Using or damaging entities
- Placing, using, or breaking paintings and item frames
- Player-versus-player damage
- Using active shops
Personal overrides take priority over public settings. Players can be granted all permissions, denied all permissions, or reset to the public settings.
Operators follow the same claim permissions during normal play. A temporary admin mode can be enabled when a deliberate bypass is required. Admin mode is cleared when leaving and is not retained between sessions.
Environmental protection
Environmental safeguards remain active independently of player permissions. Claims protect their contents against:
- Explosions and their block, entity, and knockback effects
- Fire spreading and blocks burning
- Mob griefing
- Fluid flow across claim boundaries
- Piston movement across claim boundaries
- Dispensers placing fluids, fire, or other content across boundaries
- Droppers throwing items across boundaries
- Hoppers transferring items across boundaries
- Item entities moving into or out of a claim
Effects outside a claim can continue normally while protected blocks and entities inside the claim are excluded.
Spawn protection
An optional square protection area can be configured around the world spawn. It covers building, interaction, combat, entities, containers, environmental damage, and boundary-crossing automation.
Explicit claims take priority where they intersect the protected spawn area, allowing their normal public and personal permission settings to apply.
Integrations
Open Parties and Claims is supported as an optional integration. Its chunk claims cannot be created where they intersect a TDClaim or the protected spawn area. In intersecting chunks, access decisions are left to TDClaim.
TDEconemy shops can use the separate shop_use permission. Active shop boards and their directly attached storage retain the shop-management rules defined by TDEconemy without granting general container access inside the claim.
FTB Chunks is not supported as a parallel claim system.
Configuration and data
The selection tool, particle visualization, colors, display range, denial-message cooldown, spawn protection radius, and an additional compatible shop marker can be configured.
Claim data includes names, dimensions, boundaries, public permissions, and player-specific overrides. Invalid or contradictory claim data is not silently replaced, preventing protected areas from being loaded with an empty claim set.
