Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
TDRules 1.2.0 — Changes Since 1.1.0
Added
- Added full rule-book reading verification. Players must now view every page of the Patchouli rule book before they can confirm and accept the rules.
- Added a visible page-progress counter to the acceptance screen.
- Added a dedicated close button to the Patchouli rule book.
- Reading completion is stored per player and rule version, so completed progress survives reconnects.
- The server rejects acceptance attempts until reading completion for the current rule version has been recorded.
- Added a confirmed full starter-kit reissue option for online players to the admin interface. This requires permission level 3, warns about possible duplicate items, and does not alter the original one-time kit record.
Improved
- German and English chat and system messages now use Minecraft’s translation system, allowing each client to render messages in its selected language.
- Improved reporting and auditing for manual starter-kit reissues, including partial deliveries, overflow items, disconnects, and loot-table errors.
- Improved the administration screen layout so password controls remain inside the panel.
- NeoForge compatibility metadata is now derived from the configured build version, keeping the packaged requirement consistent. TDRules supports NeoForge 21.1.248 or newer for Minecraft 1.21.1.
- Simplified command, configuration, networking, book-delivery, and audit implementations without changing their intended behavior.
Updated Rules
- Create trains may no longer travel through the Nether.
- Nether train routes and portal connections intended for Create trains may not be built or used.
- The Wither and other dangerous mobs may only be summoned or deliberately spawned in the Farmwelt.
- Existing restrictions on dangerous events near spawn, public facilities, and other players’ property remain in effect.
Upgrade Notes
- Install the same TDRules 1.2.0 JAR on the server and every client.
- Fully restart the server and all clients after replacing the JAR.
/reloadis not sufficient. - The rule acceptance version remains
1. Updating from 1.1.0 therefore does not automatically force players who already accepted version 1 to accept it again. - Players who still need to accept the rules must complete the new full-book reading requirement.
