Tasty Totems

Tasty Totems lets you eat Totems of Undying to activate their effects before death. Totems still keep their normal life-saving behavior, giving you the choice to save them for emergencies or consume them early when you need the effects immediately.

Imagine you're in the nether and you fall straight into lava. You didn't bring any fire resistence, but you have a totem of undying. You know you'll survive, but, you realize you didn't bring any food either, which means that you won't be able to regenerate to full health if you die with the totem in hand. That's where the power of Tasty Totems comes in! By activating your totem before you die, you'll keep some health you would've lost if you'd waited until death, and you make it out alive!
