What's new
Fifteen sets rebuilt - every ultimate is now a film.
Each rebuilt set has new armor modeled from scratch, four abilities that each have a second press, a passive, a floating decoration and a cinematic ultimate with its own camera (the HUD hides while it films, then the camera glides back behind you).
Rebuilt from scratch:
- Warrior Prince (Vegeta) - Final Flash (again: Final Burst), Big Bang Attack (again: detonate), Ki Barrage (again: "Die!"), Prince's Onslaught (again: Hammer Fist). Below a third of your health the Super Saiyan breaks through - golden hair, golden aura, the scouter falls away. The Final Explosion: he draws everything into himself for five seconds - streams of light, enemies, blocks torn from the ground - then a golden dome of 50 blocks, a pillar of light and a crater. He barely survives it.
- Donar - Chain Lightning, Lightning Rod, Lightning Walk, Thunder Goats. Thunderbolt of the Gods: he rises into a storm vortex, charges the bolt and plunges down in a lightning explosion.
- Hurricane - Wrath of the Hurricane: a tornado that tears real blocks out of the ground and hurls them away.
- Kraken Lord - The Great Flood.
- Blood Pact - Blood Moon.
- Nihil - Nihil.
- Requiem - Dies irae.
- Götterdämmerung - Starfall.
- Nightmare - The Bone Lord.
- Chronos - Time-Lapse, shot like a real time-lapse.
- Magnetar - Starquake.
- Starweaver - The Collapse.
- Ash Emperor - Core Burn.
- Sun Pharaoh - Fall of the Sun.
- Shadow Monarch - new armor, new abilities, the ultimate is a film; his shadows stay in the fight.
Also new: the Steel Colossus and Apex ultimates are filmed, the Frost Emperor's Ice Dragon makes an entrance, and the Warlord is a brutal boss.
Ultimates that destroy terrain respect mobGriefing and never touch bedrock, containers or fluids.
Fixed:
- The body poses and on-screen names of many abilities never reached your client or arrived as a different ability.
- The game crashed when the Warlord was killed (already in 1.2.1).
- For every set: your skin showed through the armor between the legs while walking.
- An NPC Frost Emperor could dive off the edge of its arena.
- NeoForge/Fabric 1.21.1: your own character was invisible while a mod camera showed you from outside.
