Tarkov Movement
An attempt to adapt EFT movement system to Minecraft's conditions to make gun PvP more fun. The system is simplified and does not copy EFT movement system exactly. You can thoroughly customize the movement in the config.
Main features
- Movement: Vanilla movement with a short slowdown when you quickly reverse direction (slight inertia). Smooth turns and normal movement are not slowed down.
- Repeated jumps: Repeated sprint jumps lose speed, so holding Space is not the fastest way to move. Jumps while going uphill or climbing one-block terrain are not punished to not hinder traversing Minecraft's environment.
- Sprinting: Ground sprint speed is about increased from 5.6 to 6.8 blocks per second to compensate for removed sprint-jumping.
- Stamina: Sprinting and jumping use stamina. When it runs out, sprinting is disabled until enough stamina recovers.
- Bunny hops: Pressing Space within 50 ms before or after landing starts a chain that keeps your speed and direction for up to 2 continuous timed jumps, while letting you look anywhere, for more fun aggressive gameplay and wide peeks. Holding space bar will not result in triggering Bunny Hopping.
- Air momentum: While airborne, movement keys and mouse movement do not change your horizontal direction.
- Configuration: Movement, stamina, bunny hops, HUD position, colors, and server checks can all be changed in the config file.
Requirements
- Minecraft: 1.21.1
- NeoForge: 21.1.248 or newer in the 21.1 line
- Java: 21
