Welp, looks like 1.12 will be in long term support mode. Bugs will be fixed; just don't expect much in the way of new features. I ought to get something playable published for 1.16 before 1.17 comes out...
- Slow fall scaling removed. You get a fairly short coyote time after aerial dashing during which your fall is greatly slowed, then you fall slightly slower than vanilla.
- Fixed potential attribute log spam and crash
- Qi goes up even when an attack is parried. Of course this means...
- Mobs can now parry. This is dictated by a config option that represents a chance to parry every attack. And this in turn leads to...
- Posture is consumed even if you didn't parry. Better learn to dodge around.
- Posture now regenerates about four times as fast, but is doubly reduced by armor. Its default cooldown has also been increased to 1.5 seconds. Attacking and dodging will reset the cooldown. Overall, your posture becomes a fast-gain, fast-loss resource.
- Client sync should cause a lot less lag, if at all.
- Finicky speed-based projectile parrying removed. Shields can parry projectiles as per the rules of melee strikes, and weapons gain the ability at qi level 5.
- Lance reworked on accounts of multiple bugs inherent to continuous damage. It no longer sweeps, but has far more impressive knockback and damage scaling with charge.
- Bunch of little bug fixes
