EchoWarden: Tameable Warden Companion System

Overview

EchoWarden is a custom Minecraft server utility script (built using Skript) designed to transform the formidable and hostile Warden into a tameable, loyal companion. By leveraging Echo Shards, players can bond with a Warden, granting them a powerful guardian that mimics wolf-like companion behaviors while integrating seamlessly into survival gameplay.

Key Features

  • Echo Shard Taming: Players can right-click a wild Warden while holding an Echo Shard to claim ownership, securely binding the entity via its UUID.

  • Wolf-Style Combat Mechanics:

    • The Tamed Warden automatically targets and attacks any mob or player that the owner engages.

    • It acts defensively, retaliating instantly if the owner is attacked by external hostile entities.

    • Owners are completely protected from friendly fire against their own Warden.

  • Companion Commands & Controls:

    • Sitting/Standing: Players can make their Warden sit or stand by sneaking and interacting with it, locking its location when stationed.

    • Proximity & Teleportation: Automated background loops ensure the Warden tracks its owner, teleporting to close the distance if it falls too far behind or gets stuck across dimensions.

  • Vanilla Debuff Management: Automatically mitigates or removes annoying vanilla status effects (such as the blinding Darkness effect) for nearby players and allies within the companion's radius.
