Tameable Animals

Tame 19 vanilla animals, give them unique rest poses, and ask them to follow or stay.

Tameable Animals

Ever wanted to bring more animals along on your adventures? Tameable Animals lets you make 19 more vanilla animals your companions.

Feed an animal its taming food until it trusts you. The exact amount is a surprise.

Give them a command

Right-click your companion with an empty hand to switch between two modes:

  • Follow — your companion travels with you and can teleport nearby if it gets left behind.
  • Stay — it stays in place and settles into a pose that fits the animal, like sitting or lying down.

Wolves, cats, parrots, horses, and other animals that are already tameable in vanilla Minecraft keep their usual behavior. For multiplayer, install the mod on both the server and the client.
